Our deepest fear
Here's a text I came to think about the other day. It's a text from the wonderful film, Coach Carter. When you've read it. Please stop for a moment and think. Think of what it really means. What it means to you. What it could mean in peoples life around you. But most of all. What it could mean in your life tomorrow.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Just another day
I've been swimming today, feels really nice. Saw this grown woman learning to swim, she was completley terrified by the water, poor thing. I've decided to find out a way help her as much as I can as the stranger I am. But I guess praying is a good start :D. These days we constantly seem to have tests in school. It's a blasted good thing I have wonderful friends in school, or it might seem unbarable. Well soon I'm off to eat a wonderfull dinner. And I am soooooo hungry.

Said godbye to Js, R, E, and "Boris" today. Rips your heart out. I really do fall for people to easily I mean, seriously. I've only known these people for like a week and yet it hurts so much when they leave. Anyways. It was wonderful having them here, they have given a lot and I doubt this is the last we hear from them.
Next Friday, we're going skateing with the youth team. And Mando Diao is plaing again, in Lund. Although once again, I can't attend due to a band gigg. But I wish all my friends who are going a wonderful time :)
Fyi, only 4 weeks until Cuba!

Snow glorious snow
Boy we sure love the snow down here! It doesn't come very often so when it does we're in it all day. Today we built a snow-fort on the field in front of the house. It took about 2 hours with the four of us helping. Then the neighbour's kid came and helped us with the snowman and the lanterns.
Mom is happy to since it's getting close to the way snow is back in Canada. We only need about a meter or so more, haha. So now we're ready for any snowball challengers who might come our way.
This evening we whent to Kiko's babyshower, all the girls and women were there and we had a great time. Girls sure can babble, Canaco said, and I'm sure many of us were thinking the same thing. But I'll bet you on Darwin's theory that it's for the best.

Camping feb -09
We just came home from our campingtrip last night. It was wonderfull and after only a couple of days away from civilization we were all in shock the day of our homecomeing. We've only been gone for days but it feels like I've gained a week of life. Now all my limbs are acing (in a good way, as we say, haha) and our livingroom is covered in drying tents and sleepingbags.
We started walking early in the morning, through the fern woods. Since Mimmi was with we walked with one-hour intervalls between lunch and camp.
The coolest place was the "trollskog" with awesome trees and huge ravines. In the end we camped in an old quarry by a lake. It was cold, cold, cold but oh so fun. Going back also went well, although we had to rush, because of the snow and dark which were creeping up faster than accounted for.
All in all it was wonderfull.

Healthday tomorrow
Tomorrow we're having a "health day" at school. What exactly that means I haven't really got a grip on yet, but we're going to eat breakfast in school and probably do belly-dancing! Not much has happened today other than a few misshaps at school and now I'm going over to S's to see the pics from Badgarstein (or however That is spelled). Tomorrow evening I'm gonna see, Dead Man Walking and later this week we have a big kem-test so I won't be able to write for a while.
Here's a pic I took while making Berlie's food. He only eats natural food, and is now probably the healthiest dog in Skåne (bragging (a)). Well I thought it sort of matched the Health theme, haha.

Byebye SAT's
My English SAT's are Finnaly Over! And I finished them with top grades, haha. And... My basketball team is going to play LUNDBAS in a couple of weeks! I'm so pumped! But I'm getting totally claustrofobic (if that's how it's spelled) in my body right now. As I said earlier everyone's kind of under the weather and I haven't trained for like a week. The timing these matches have really amaze me. Well I still don't have any new pics yet but here's a good old one.

Happy birthday (snyggingar)
Still dreaming of Cuba every waking day, I have somehow managed to keep my feet on the ground for a couple more weeks. Unfortunatley I'm at home, sick, as are many of my friends
:( but it's nothing serious and we'll be good as gold before we know it :D. This week both J.G and V.G turned 17! Enormous Happy Birthday To You! With most of my friend 17 and some 18 I'm starting to feel young again, which is wonderful since I was starting to get an aging complexion (not a good sign at 16 haha). Well, to sum up, Life is my home boy and my Boy is on holiday :D <3

I'm back
Sorry I haven't had time to write over the holidays. I've been totaly wrenched, what with
X-mas, New years eve, mothers eyes, my stomach, friends, the band and various parties. It's been a lovley holiday and although I don't look forward to going back to school, who wants to linger in the past? So this one's for jumping into the new year and walking on higher ground!
