La creazione di Adamo

Here I've presented two Michelangelos and one parasol. It's been a vaguely dramatic day today and I guess I turned a bit mushy.

I hope most of you have seen La creazione di adamo. Studied this concept today; När det männskliga möter det gudomliga, in Swedish.

the photos, i took in Italy: David, Michelangelo, Florence (I love this photo, if I may say so myself, for it's contrasts, it's vulnerability. Plus it brings back memories)

and Parasol, made in china, Florence.

The collector

Anyone who knows me simply has to read this book. It's so scary how it keeps bringing stuff up that I just thought of myself (weird). Anyhow, it's a key to getting to know me better.

Freedom!

I'm finally freeeeeeeeeee! "School's out for winter.... Schools out for good" (to be sung). A few days before school finished there was an earthquake here. In Sweden, where we've been taught that earhquakes here are an impossibity! Later that week, after I'd sung at she school-finishing hoopla and our principle'd talked about scents for half an hour we got our grades (Vicki, JH and I got 100% MVG:s (A:s), not to brag or anything...). We celebrated at my house the rest of the evening, just having a good time. As usual I haven't really understod that we're on holiday wet. But it will come :). Above, a blast from the past with Drutten och Gena, my father's favorive TV-show as a child. (We watched it at school)

Tje! (palla)

Tomorrow I have to get upp att 4:20 am to sing in a horrible Lucia concert! After that I have a huge midterm mathtest, which I won't have time to practice for because I'm going to see M's pianoconcert (which I really want to see). And my mathteacher thought I was badmouthing him yesterday when I wasn't! Plus this morning our french teacher made us wach a supremley horrible film that's had my gut churning the whole day. AAAAnd I still don't have a camera. So If it weren't for my dear friend right now I would probably be going even more bazonkas than I already am. So, well, thanks.

Todayhas been quite an eventless day, for a change. I'm just a little more focused and a little more confused. I just came home from babysitting L and I took this awesom picture with my phone, but I can't display it so I'm going completley bazonkas here.

Yesterday we visited monte: Leo, Josey, Mia, Steph and I. There is really a bit too much to say about something so little. So I'll wait and put it in words on my upcomeing blogg. I've decided to start a second blog. A more personal, or private blog if you please. I thought I would try it out as a place for poems, songs and other mushy stuff of that sort. That way this blog can serve solely as a journal.

Oh my, I can't believe it's really sunday again. I'm really starting to feel old. But to cut to the chase about Kenya: Yes I've seriously been checking it out. It seams perfect for me. The only thing that was keeping me from studying abroad earlier was the fact that one has to retake the course once one's back in Sweden. Well, in Nairobi I'd get everything I want and I wouldn't be wasting time. It seems totally fantastic. But noone has to shed a tear over me leaving yet. It's just a dream, one which is extremley difficult to finance at that. But seriousley, what are we without our dreams? (Do you remember our friend on the picture?)

Wednesday

I'm Back! Yesterday was such a wonderful day. We were off school (studyday) and it was only dad and me who were home. I got up at around 10, took Bz for a long walk and after that, came home and had mammas cereal while waching a film. Does a schoolday become better than that? I mean, seriously?

Today it's snowing again and I'll soon be on my way to choir. My feet were totlay frozen and are finally starting to thaw, so I'm a little reluctant to go outside again. But it's been a good day so far :). Today we also went bowling for gym since the gymhall was occupied. I totaly suck at bowling, but it was great fun.

First of advent

Now that the first snow has fallen one can really feel that christmas is on it's way. It's the first of advent here in Sweden and as usual we've started selling X-mas trees in Skanör. Also as usual we can all feel the christmas rush sneaking up on us. This weekend we had a bandnight at Cotte's. It was bliss! We'v ealso been practicing a lot and today Mi sang in church. Now the question has arisen weather or not we're going to Valfjället to ski this year. I really hope so.
Well happy Advent everyone!

Consuming fire

Last saturday was awesom! As most of you know we had that huge day in church and at night the band played... And oh boy, did we play. It has never been, sounded or felt so fantastic before. We were all together on the lit up stage, where we just fit. In front of us something like 100 people. They are all jumping with their arms in the air. Singing, shouting the songs we play. In the dark I can't even see where the croud ends. Everyone stops playing exept HS. The croud roars out the refrain while the drums pound. It was indiscribable. Boy oh boy, such happiness! A thousand thanks to everyone, and an extra one to Cotte, Asse and C who made it all possible (pictures are on their way).

Take me back

Phew, it's been a busy weekend. On friday we had our Mallorca reunion at Ps, it was all us 12 girls together again and P of course. We made paella, applepie, danced to too loud music, watched Swedish Idol and looked at the 1643 pictures we had put together from those sunny days. JD and HL had taken 4 coffein tablets (3 too many) and since, as everyone knows, JD doesn't cope well with stuff like that she only stayed half the time. We took the buss back at 01.45 and we were totally exhausted. Thankyou P for a wonderfull evening!

Saturday was concerttime and it was really lovley. After that I "shilladefilm" as we say in Sweden, with some friends form, heaven forbidd, Procivitas.

Late schoolnight babbling

I have just come home from babysitting L, a wonderful little girl, but I havn't had supper and a very meek lunch. I had school 'till 5 'ocklock missing choir (which I love) and basketball. On top of that I have a frenchtest tomorrow which I am studying for now. My weekends are fully booked Fri-Sun three weeks and counting... Luckily I have completley wonderfull friends who, unluckily are being neglected by me out of lack of time. 4 more hours would do it. 4 more hours a day... Wouldent you all just Love That? (I'm leading bandplay tomorrow by the way (hooyaa!), for those interested. And yes I was with AV yesterday, that guy sure can talk :D).

Missing my camera

Haha! I finally figured out how to play music here (although I don't know how to choose it).
Have you been outside today? I for one have and it's breathtaking. This is my very favorite time of year and I'm suffocating without my camera. I hope I'll have it back soon, soon, soon and as those who know me know, there will soon be too many pictures here. But for now I will have to do with one from Italy this summer.

Carpe Diem

Well, it seems I've finally started a blogg, and so here goes.

For the last few days we've been watching A dead poet's society in english class. That film really moves me and when I've watched it like now, I've had the time to think. And I realize that that tremendous feeling that overwhelmes me when I hear those poems and quotations, is the same one I feel every day. It's the imense happiness of every second being close to God. So my first message on this blogg will be thuss: "Dream like you would live for ever. Live like you would die today".
